For the final implementation of my visualization, I managed to achieve all of what I had originally set out to do. I was able to round the edges of the bars, changed the colour scheme to something more eye-catching, and I altered the bar animation to my liking. In addition, I succeeded in implementing two types of interactivity for my visualization. It offers both a filtering tool and a mouseover event that accurately displays the value of a bar. A user could use these tools to, for example, determine which province has the highest percentage of female graduates and detect any outliers. They could also use these tools to investigate how age group affects the graduation rate for women in Canada by selecting “Age Group” from the drop-down menu. These implemented interactions can provide insights into how female graduation rates differs across STEM groups, provinces, educational attainment level, and more.
